Introduction

What are you waiting for?

I don’t know what you are waiting for or what you have been waiting for, your wait is over. For those who must still wait, what must you be doing during the waiting period? What actions are necessary for the waiting period? What attitudes are relevant for the waiting period?

You see, in summer we wear certain clothes in a certain way. In winter we wear certain clothes in a certain way. Each and every season has its own dynamics. What is good for this season might not be good for the next season. Since each season has their own dynamics, the waiting period also has its own dynamics.

When a woman is pregnant, she understands what to eat and what not to eat. She knows exactly what to drink and what not to drink. For the purposes of the baby that she is carrying, she has to eat and drink what is right for her as well as the baby. Even herself her health is important as the carrier of the baby.

Even you who are waiting, you are like a pregnant woman. A woman knows that in the ninth month something will happen. She therefore she waits differently as a result. When you know something is coming, your waiting is different from a person who knows nothing at all.

The behaviours of the waiting period

You who is waiting is like a pregnant woman. You might be on your sixth month, or eighth month. Three months might be left before you can give birth. You might be left with one month before you can deliver. My advice to you is this, hold on.

You might be waiting for that job. You might be waiting for that contract. You might be waiting for those documents. You might be waiting for your business to take off. Don’t lose heart. Don’t lose hope. For whatever you are waiting for, it is on the way and it is coming towards you.

Now, how must one act and behave during the waiting period? How must one behave during the waiting period? The following are the attitudes relevant for the successful waiting period:

  • Avoid complaining

During the waiting season, you might be tempted to complain. Mostly during the waiting seasons, things are tough. It is never easy. The easiest thing to do during this seasons will be complaining. Press on until your baby is here. Push until you deliver.

Complaining delays the things that were coming. Complaining prolongs the answers. Complaining will make sure that you are stuck in the same place for a very long time.

If you feel like you have been waiting for far too long, please check your complaining levels. Please check how you have been complaining and I guarantee you, now you know the answer and the cause of your delays.

One thing that complaining will do is delay you.

  • Maintain your gratitude

Gratitude is able to speed up things. Unlike complaining, gratitude is also able to shorten your waiting period. During the waiting period, it is very important to pay careful attention to what is working well in your life and avoid what is not working as this has the potential to cause you to complain and lose sight of what is important. Remain grateful for even the smallest of things as gratitude is able to melt mountains like candle wax.

  • Stay Positive

It would really help you to remain positive during this seasons. When you are positive and remain positive, you will have the energy to push you to the next day. During this seasons of waiting, it looks like a day is long and taking forever to finish. It feels like things will remain like this forever. Let me tell you one thing, it won’t always be like this. Things will change one of this days.

Avoid negativity by all means and embrace positivity at all costs. Positivity will definitely give you the staying power. Remain positive

  • Be hopeful

A person without hope is like a person without a soul. Exactly like a car without engine. During your waiting period, have hope. Be hopeful that things will be good eventually. That is hope.

  • Trust

Trust that everything will work out. Trust is key. You know what, everything will be okay. Yes, I believe this. You Must too.

Conclusion

We have come to the end of the road for today. Waiting periods are never easy but because of God they remain possible. May you finish your waiting period successfully. I believe you will get that thing you have been waiting for.

I encourage you to stand firm and never give up. You have come too far to give up and stop right now. Stand strong and remain. You might be on month seven out of the nine months. You might be left with seconds or maybe hours. You will never know.

Hang in there and the best is yet to come. Remember, it works if you work it. Till we meet again in the next piece. Peace.
