Navigating through tough times

Life can a be a lot sometimes. So, being positive is vital. Life can happen to most of us. Remember, we have to always be positive because life is flowing from us to the outside. We have to be careful that we are not found in any point in a day negative. We have to remain positive no matter what but it is very hard to remain positive sometimes.

There are those days that it will be so tough to be and remain positive. Then what? What must one do to remain positive even on the days when positivity is difficult? You are a human being and you will be caught up there and there. Life is a cycle. Today it is dark and tomorrow it is light.

Then there are those days it is also so difficult to even smile. You are depressed. You feel pressed down. You feel sad and you are going through the most. How can you remain positive still when you are going through the most? What can you do to remain positive still in your tough moments? Let’s see. You can do the following things when you are going through the most:

  • Practice gratitude

As I always say, gratitude is the best attitude. Learn to practice gratitude when you are going through your lower moments. Take a moment each day to acknowledge the things you are grateful for, no matter how small they can be. Focusing on the positives can shift your perspective.

  • Find support

Monitor your associations very well. Only be surrounded by the positive to avoid the negative. Who you are surrounded by matters. Surround yourself with friends, family or whoever can provide support and encourage you during any season of your life. Many overlook this and it’s that crucial. Who you surround yourself with matters.

  • Stay present

Instead of dwelling on past regrets or worrying about the future, try to focus on the present moment. Meditate and practice deep breathing to keep yourself grounded. Make sure to stay present and focus on the now and the present. That will help you a lot.

  • Seek inspiration

Surround yourself with positive influences such as uplifting books, podcasts or music that inspire and motivate you. This is crucial. Make it a point to surround yourself with positivity in order to remain positive in your down moments.

  • Engage in the activities you enjoy

What do you enjoy doing? What are your favorite activities? Dedicate time for the activities that bring you joy, relaxation, whether it’s spending time outdoors, pursuing a hobby or simply taking a hot bath. Enjoyment brings and breeds positivity. You will be joyous and positive the moment you embark on the activities you love and enjoy, as long as they are ethical and decent.
