Excuses are everywhere. Everyone makes them once in a while, more especially if they have to start or oversee anything new. The newness of things can bring challenges. The newness of things often bring fear which gives birth to excuses.
Failure to start will result in failure to see the fruits. Things hardly make themselves. Things hardly build themselves. Does your food cook itself? Not a chance. You have to cook but if you have the means you go to the restaurant. Luckily today we are looking at the various excuses pre-entrepreneurs need to avoid. Ventures can come forth if pre-entrepreneurs can avoid the following detrimental excuses:
- ” I don’t have the money”
Who has the money? Nobody has the money as they start. Money is just an excuse that cripples your entrepreneurial ambitions. Go and study every great entrepreneur, you will quickly find out that they had nothing when they started. They created something out of nothing. They started and money followed. If you want to see the money before you can start, go get a job. There you will be guaranteed a quickly monthly paycheck. Money should not be the issue you haven’t started your venture yet.
- ”It takes too long to build a business”
Even Rome was not built in a day. This things take time. You cannot outsource the pushups. You yourself must do them if you are serious about whatever your health goal is. The things of great value are built. Yes it takes time building a business. A great business will not fall on your lap. It has to be built and buildings take time. The building time should not discourage you from starting. You know the great vision in your heart. Just step in and pursue it.
- ”I don’t have any contacts”
Though contacts are important, they don’t start a business. When you start a business, you start with nothing and move your way up. Not anyone who has made it in business started with contacts. Some go along with contacts in the middle of the road while some go until and until towards the end. Contacts should not be your excuse. There are many great entrepreneurs who started without contacts and they eventually made it big. Now, get up and pursue your entrepreneurial dreams.
